The sun sets, and darkens the globe,
Just to give birth to a new ray, a new day!!
That ray travels all through to spread light,
And dies after it reaches us!!
That end is soundless, it’s appalling,
Still it gives us hope of a fresh daybreak!!
Life is alike, ups and downs at every stage,
One episode ends to give place to another one!!
Closure saddens us, but leads to a new optimism,
A surprise that has opened hands to welcome us!!
Live for it accepting the volatility of being,
The revolution is for good, just go for it!!

ReplyDeleteTo comment on such a creation is not an easy thing because one needs to use some words while commenting but i have no words to express the deep meaning this poem conveys to life. It is an absolutely touching creation full of innocence in simple words. Its essence lies in its simplicity though it tells a lot about life. I wish I could have written this way but for now, being a friend to the poetess gives enough contentment to me. :)
