Erratic… Its Life…

The sun sets, and darkens the globe,
Just to give birth to a new ray, a new day!!
That ray travels all through to spread light,
And dies after it reaches us!!
That end is soundless, it’s appalling,
Still it gives us hope of a fresh daybreak!!

Life is alike, ups and downs at every stage,
One episode ends to give place to another one!!
Closure saddens us, but leads to a new optimism,
A surprise that has opened hands to welcome us!!
Live for it accepting the volatility of being,
The revolution is for good, just go for it!!

Misty dreams...

Every night my closed eyes watch dreams,
Some which make them moist,
Others that bring smile on my sleepy face
And the one which frights me in the dark,
Why I forget them all when I open my eyes?

Now the time for my open eyes to do its job,
Reverie all through the day that’s it,
My desires, that I yearn for, it dreams,
They are in my memory even when I am asleep,
Then why don’t all of them come true?

Does this man really need an introduction?
I think he is an open book, just read through
A white haired, 60 crossed lean man,
As accepted by all, a Brilliant Doctor,
Having control of all the medicines,
A gentleman, having command over his words.

Committed his life to his profession,
Amazing Personality, A person full of life,
The genuineness is evident in his smile,
Yes, He is a Big B for all of us,
But don’t forget my badi maa,
He is incomplete without his better half.

A sweet smile with a caressing hand,
Down to earth, close to heart; this is what she is,
The duo looks great when together,
Have you ever eaten Badi Maa’s specialty items,
As in gulab-jamun, neebu ka aachar,
You will lick your fingers for sure.

They had a love marriage, don’t you know,
Dr. baba in white sherwani jumped off the ghodi,
Near the mandap, badi maa was in Red sari
Eyes met, silence crossed, and they fell in Love,
Elders pleased, Pandit chanted mantras and,
50 years back they got married on 19th Feb.

This endearing couple is blessed with,
Three beautiful daughters and a son,
Growing, shining, rising under their love
We all are gathered here, to wish you both,
A Happy Anniversary, good luck for future
And Salute your 50 golden years of togetherness..

Lastly I don’t want to miss a chance to say-
We Love to Maa Baba. We really Love You.
